We started Nexgen to build the school we wished existed
We wanted to create a place where learning is a joyful exploration and every student feels seen, heard and supported.
The result: a microschool nestled in the forest, across the beach, where preteens and teen actually want to be at (students say it, their parents witness it).
Nexgen Academy is an accredited, bilingual private school near Santa Teresa and Malpais, Costa Rica, designed for students ages 9 to 17. Combining a rigorous US-accredited curriculum with hands-on experiential learning, we empower students through autonomous project-based education in a vibrant coastal community.
